Judgement – No more close-up darshans for paying devotees
On November 1, 2017, the Indic Collective Trust filed a Writ Petition No.28882/2017, before the Madras High Court seeking abolition of money-based queue system for Darshan in Temples which was imposed by TN HRCE Department without any legal basis. On November 13,2017, the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court allowed the Writ Petition on the first day of its hearing and directed that all devotees must be allowed to  have darshan from the same point in the Temple. Below is the link to the judgment.

Could not find any better place to ask my doubts
* As mentioned in the HR&CE acts of southern states, can a donation made by devotee be considered as INCOME of temple?
* As per recent Ram mandir judgement, if Ram (deity of temple) is considered as a living person and has all the rights under constitution then should he also pay tax as per slabs?
